The customisation and versatility of DIECI telehandlers are among the features most appreciated by our customers. For this reason, from September 2026, a new section entirely dedicated to telehandler equipment has been added to the DIECI website.

Buckets, forks, grippers, blades, winches, hooks, extensions and baskets make it possible to adapt the telehandler to very different operating environments, from agriculture to construction.

Thanks to dedicated attachments, a telehandler can quickly perform different functions: from a forklift truck for material handling to a crane for lifting suspended loads, from a platform for working at height to a machine for grounds maintenance.

This flexibility helps optimise investment, reduce the number of machines required and increase operational efficiency in every working environment.

Clear and intuitive browsing: the new section dedicated to DIECI equipment

The new section dedicated to DIECI telehandler equipment has been created to help users identify the solutions best suited to different operating requirements, making it simple and intuitive to browse the equipment compatible with each model.

The website now provides detailed access to DIECI’s extensive equipment catalogue, which includes:

Within the selected category, all available models can now be viewed. By clicking on the image of each model, users can access the relevant accessory page and explore its details, functions, benefits and features. The technical information also indicates which DIECI models are compatible with the selected equipment, making the selection process simpler, faster and more effective.

Likewise, every product page dedicated to DIECI telehandlers and work machines now includes a list of compatible equipment. This means that both existing DIECI machine users and those considering a purchase for the first time can discover all the available configuration options directly online.

The structure of the new section is designed to guide users step by step through the selection process by enabling them to:

  • identify the category of interest;
  • browse the available equipment;
  • check the main applications;
  • explore the technical features in greater detail;
  • assess compatibility with the various telehandler models.

The new online showcase does not replace direct contact with the DIECI sales network but makes that discussion easier and better informed: users can submit an enquiry already having an initial understanding of the accessory best suited to their work.

How to choose the right equipment for a telehandler

DIECI dealers around the world and the DIECI After Sales service are always available to provide customers with specialist advice when choosing the right equipment.

Thanks to the new website section, anyone wishing to gather further information independently can browse an extensive, detailed catalogue and make an initial assessment of how best to configure their telehandler.

For a business, choosing the right equipment means making better use of the machine, reducing operating times and carrying out a wider range of tasks with a single vehicle.

From a light-material bucket to a log gripper, from a basket for working at height to a specialised olive-harvesting kit, every configuration is designed to meet a specific operating requirement.

To identify the equipment best suited to a DIECI telehandler, it is useful to start with a few questions:

  • What material needs to be handled?
  • What are the weight and volume of the load?
  • Is work at height required?
  • Is the ground level, uneven or unpaved?
  • Is particular positioning precision required?
  • Does the accessory need to rotate, grip or retain the load?
  • Is the task agricultural, construction-related, industrial or specialised?

The answers help narrow the choice between buckets, forks, grippers, blades, winches, hooks, baskets and special equipment.

For pallet handling

The most suitable solutions include forks, floating forks, forks shifting units and fork positioners.

For soil, gravel and loose materials

Depending on the density and type of material to be handled, the choice may include digging buckets, light-material buckets or 4-in-1 buckets.

For agricultural work

Available equipment includes forage and silage buckets, bale forks, wrapped-bale grippers, grab buckets and multipurpose forks with holders.

For lifting loads at height

Winches, hooks and extensions make it possible to handle suspended loads and materials that need to be positioned at height.

For working at height

Front, three-sided, extendible and winch-equipped baskets can be used for work on façades, roofs, installations and elevated structures. A basket with front opening makes work at height easier by allowing the operator to access elevated areas more easily.

For special applications

Grippers for logs, pipes, tyres and cylinders, as well as centring handlers for arches, meet the needs of the industrial, forestry, mining and recycling sectors.

Equipment for agricultural and construction telehandlers: DIECI customer experiences

A telehandler is an extremely versatile machine because it can be configured with different equipment according to the sector and the type of work involved.

Some configurations are particularly valued by DIECI customers because they make it possible to carry out, with a single machine, tasks that would otherwise require several different vehicles.

Grounds maintenance and forestry work

In Northern Europe, where severe winter storms can cause extensive damage to forests, companies such as KAJO’S Baumfällungen und Gartenarbeiten in Bavaria have chosen the Pegasus rotating telehandler for forestry and public grounds maintenance.

Thanks to the ‘grab and cut’ attachment, the telehandler can work on trees up to 72 cm in diameter and up to 29 metres high, while also lifting and moving rocks, stumps and large logs.

The option of equipping rotating telehandlers with baskets, grippers, winches, forks and hooks also makes these machines versatile for grounds maintenance, pruning and felling tall trees, even on uneven ground and in environments with numerous obstacles.

Mining and quarries

In the mining sector, safety and durability are top priorities. Petra Diamonds chose three Samson 45.8 telehandlers for its diamond mines in Africa, thanks to the ROPS-FOPS approved cab, Fail-Safe brakes, protection against dust and fumes, and a wide range of safety devices.

The three telehandlers were supplied with forks and baskets, expanding the range of tasks they can perform in the mine: from material transport and plant maintenance to tunnel support work and debris clearance.

In recycling too, facilities such as Kornex in Poland have tested the Samson telehandler with a 3.5 m³ loader bucket and pallet forks, reducing loading times by more than 50% compared with similar machines.

Agriculture and livestock farming

On livestock farms such as La Stalla Sociale di Monastier, Agri Max 60.9 telehandlers are used with a bucket, fork with tines, clamp for bales and forks to perform a wide range of tasks, from feeding livestock and cleaning sheds to handling heavy loads.

Azienda Agricola Sartori, which has been producing forage and managing farmland for a century, chose a DIECI articulated telehandler to modernise its operations.

The machine was equipped with:

  • forks for pallets and palletised materials, for handling fertiliser, feed and equipment;
  • forks for bales and round bales, for handling hay and forage.

Azienda Agricola Brintazzoli, which has been operating in Castel Guelfo di Bologna for more than 60 years, also uses equipment to extend the versatility of its DIECI telehandlers. The Agri Max Power X2 60.9 is used mainly for work in livestock buildings, from handling and lifting to cleaning out bedding. The equipment used by the farm includes:

  • a twine-removal fork, designed to make it easier to remove twine from square and round bales, particularly in livestock farming;
  • a telescopic fork, which can handle up to four bales at a time.

In Montecchio Emilia, Azienda Agricola Elefanti has been working with DIECI telehandlers for more than 25 years, using them for all its agricultural activities.

The telehandlers are equipped with:

  • forks for bales and round bales, for handling hay and forage;
  • buckets for silage and organic materials, for managing waste and farm by-products;
  • clamps for big wrapped bales, for safe handling of hay bales.

Emergency response and civil protection

In the emergency sector too, specialised telehandler equipment can make a significant difference in terms of operational capability, speed and safety.

Liguria Civil Protection has added a Samson 75.10 to its fleet, equipped with a toothless digging bucket and a counterplate with forks, to support logistics and rescue operations during floods, natural disasters and fires.

Public construction and maintenance work

In construction, the wide range of available equipment allows the machine to be configured for different stages of the job, from material handling to working at height, and from yard cleaning to structural maintenance.

In Spain, the Mio CID community in Aragon chose a Zeus 35.11 for routine and extraordinary maintenance work in the local area.

The telehandler is used with:

  • an angled sweeper, for cleaning roads, yards and public areas;
  • a three-sided basket, for working at height on façades, roofs and installations;
  • forks for pallets and palletised materials, for handling bricks, bags of cement and equipment.

Beneath Bern railway station, as part of the Zukunft Bahnhof Bern project, DIECI rotating telehandlers work 17 metres underground to support excavation, handling and finishing operations.

In this environment, the machines were equipped with:

  • baskets for working at height, for installing systems and positioning materials in underground areas;
  • material grippers, for handling prefabricated elements and structural components;
  • mixing buckets, for preparing and handling concrete directly on site;
  • forks, for internal logistics and transporting equipment.

The Hercules range is DIECI’s heavy-duty solution for handling heavy and bulky loads on construction and industrial sites. At the Ritom power plant, south of the Alps, the Hercules 210.10 was used with:

  • heavy-duty forks and hooks, for handling marble blocks, prefabricated elements and large items;
  • baskets for working at height, for maintenance work on industrial structures and roofs.

Custom equipment for telehandlers

Not every task can be carried out with a standard accessory. Some sectors require equipment designed for specific operations, complex environments or particular materials.

In these cases, a telehandler can become a highly specialised machine.

In Trentino, Azienda Agricola Serafini, which specialises in trout farming, chose a Mini Agri Smart 20.4.

The telehandler was equipped with:

  • a feed dispenser mounted on the forks, for feeding the trout;
  • a stainless-steel tank combined with the DIECI weighing system, for moving fish between tanks.

In South Africa, Randell’s Ranch chose a Samson 45.8 fitted with special equipment featuring smooth, rounded edges to handle fertiliser bags without damaging their slings.

Special attachments: DIECI partnerships

Innovation in DIECI equipment goes beyond standard solutions. The company also works with specialised partners to develop increasingly specific, high-performance configurations.

One example is the partnership with SICMA, active since 2020. SICMA is a leading company in mechanised harvesting systems for olives, nuts and hanging fruit.

Thanks to this agreement, Agri Farmer and Mini Agri agricultural telehandlers can be configured and equipped with the SICMA kit, comprising:

  • New Generation vibrating heads, with a self-braking, self-centring two-jaw clamp;
  • an inverted umbrella with a variable diameter from 5 to 9 metres, designed to catch the fruit as it falls.

The configuration combines DIECI telehandlers, specially adapted for use with the kit, with SICMA equipment supplied exclusively for this application. The solution can harvest olives, almonds, walnuts, pecans, macadamia nuts and other hanging fruit, achieving drop rates close to 100% in around 10 seconds while limiting damage to the trunk.

In Greece, for example, an olive grower in Sparta uses a Mini Agri 26.6 with a SICMA vibrating gripper, covering up to 500 trees a day with a fruit drop rate of up to 99%.
