DIECI's green revolution continues to evolve. A year after the launch of its first 100% electric telehandlers, DIECI expands its zero-impact range with the launch of the Mini Agri-e SMART and the Apollo-e SMART.

These smaller models have become key players in this innovative project, offering the market versatile, economical, and highly manageable solutions centred on sustainability. Let’s take a more in-depth look at these new green mini-telehandlers designed for the construction and agricultural sectors.

Full-electric telehandlers, with no compromises

Following the launch of the compact Mini Agri-e and Apollo-e 26.6 models, DIECI has introduced two new electric telehandlers on the international market, crafted to meet every operational requirement in the construction and agricultural sectors.

Ideal for indoor use, as well as in residential areas, greenhouses, areas with environmental restrictions and protected zones, these high performance models retain the same functions of traditional telehandlers, with all the added benefits of electric power.

Engineered for efficiency, performance, and versatility, these telehandlers feature a 22 kWh LiFePo4 lithium battery pack, which can be recharged through 3 standard sockets connected to the onboard charging system. In fact, the telehandler is predisposed for use with all types of electrical power sources:

  • Mode 3 Type 2, or rather standard charging stations;
  • 220V industrial socket;
  • 380-400V industrial socket.

Developed with safety and efficiency in mind, the Research & Development team integrated various features designed to protect the operator, even from an operational standpoint:

  • The 3 sockets are only accessible when the bonnet is closed, in order to prevent vandalism;
  • The system’s voltage is set at 96V, ensuring high performance without compromising on safety;
  • The automatic equipment recognition accelerates boom setup, minimising risks and errors;
  • The functional design simplifies machine management, streamlining every operation;
  • Despite its compact size, the smart electric range delivers excellent performance and consistent driveability, retaining the characteristic DIECI feel across all the e-models.

e-Smart: all the advantages of electric mini telehandlers

Green solutions that don't compromise on performance, agility, and efficiency. DIECI’s new 100% electric telehandlers meet all the expectations of traditional models, aligning with the growing regulatory and market demands for increasingly sustainable solutions.

In addition to being suitable for use in protected and indoor areas, the e-Smart telehandlers also maintain all the operational capabilities of traditional models, with:

  • a maximum lifting capacity of up to 2000kg;
  • a lifting height up to 4350mm;
  • a top speed of 20 km/h and towing force of approximately 3100kg;
  • an unladen mass of up to 4400kg;
  • 3 steering modes, frontal, concentric and transversal.

These new e-smart telehandlers also boast specific technical features designed to enhance performance and reduce energy consumption, thus optimising battery use:

  • The load-sensing, electronically controlled proportional distributor allows for up to 3 simultaneous movements;
  • The integration of special hydraulic functions prevents power from being wasted;
  • The advanced Adaptive Load Sensing System increases battery life by conserving energy;
  • The low-noise pump reduces noise and vibrations, thus further enhancing the unit's adaptability for use in sensitive environments.

The integration of new features and the implementation of the electric motor, are combined with DIECI's constant focus on operator comfort, which has always been a major concern for the company. Despite their compact size, the compact electric telehandlers feature:

  • a spacious cab with adjustable steering wheel, stereo, sun screen, and a cushioned, ergonomic suspension seat;
  • a 7" display with high-resolution 3D-like detail for monitoring all vehicle functions;
  • semi-automatic air conditioning;
  • LED working lights on the cab and boom for maximum visibility under any use conditions;
  • rear-view mirrors that provide a complete view of the machine perimeter. optional cameras for additional safety;
  • features conceived specifically for these full-electric models, including an extra heater and bioethanol kit, and non-marking wheels, ideal for indoor use.

Combining tradition and innovation, the e-smart 100% electric mini telehandlers offer effective solutions to meet every user requirement, simplifying normal operations, and supporting farms and construction companies in all applications where a green telehandler can really make all the difference.

Electric mini-telehandlers for hire: new opportunities for businesses

The benefits offered by DIECI’s electric telehandlers extend beyond industry operators alone. Thanks to a number of simplified functions designed to facilitate vehicle maintenance and management, these solutions are perfectly suited to the needs of companies specialising in the rental of agricultural and construction machinery. In fact, the development and implementation of advanced technological solutions has led to significant operational and economic advantages for the purposes of renting, including:

  • no routine maintenance inspections or fuel filters to be replaced;
  • quick and easy battery replacement;
  • low noise levels;
  • no usage limitations;
  • compatibility with future DIECI electric components.

Whether for rental businesses, construction companies, or farms, DIECI electric mini-telehandlers represent a sound long-term investment, combining tradition with innovation to ensure all the efficiency, performance, and reliability needed to drive your company's success.
