A global distribution network for electric telehandlers
The new DIECI electric telehandlers are ready to conquer Europe and beyond, with the support of an extensive global distribution network that’s been assisting the company and its worldwide customers for years.
Perfectly embodying the company’s values of reliability, professionalism, efficiency and customer care, DIECI dealers across the world have become a true reference point for local businesses operating in the agricultural, construction, mining and emergency sectors.
Thanks to a strong dealer network, DIECI telehandlers – the latest additions to the brand’s already extensive range – are rapidly gaining visibility and appreciation worldwide.
Veltir leads DIECI distribution on the Icelandic market
Iceland has also enthusiastically welcomed the new electric telehandlers, thanks to the efforts of Veltir, the Brimborg Group division specialising in professional equipment.
Fully aligned with the latest Icelandic regulations on environmental sustainability and land protection, the company has introduced these new 100% green telehandlers to the local market.
Based in Reykjavík, Veltir is a reference point in Iceland for the import, sale and servicing of electric construction vehicles and machinery.
Having always been attentive to issues such as sustainability, as evidenced by its 2003 motto “A Safe Place to Be“, Veltir’s values are fully aligned with those of DIECI, promoting a more efficient world where performance and environmental protection come together to offer customers functional, innovative and low-carbon vehicles.
Veltir also recently signed the Reykjavík City Climate Declaration, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability. The company has thus aligned itself with the new regulations governing the environmental impact of corporate activities, promoting a reduction in the use of fossil fuels and favouring the import of more environmentally friendly vehicles and equipment from the manufacturers it represents.
In line with these provisions, Veltir has chosen DIECI electric telehandlers to guarantee its customers versatility, adaptability and efficiency, with total respect for the environment and the current regulations.

The green shift toward electric work equipment in Iceland
The Icelandic government has set clear goals for the energy transition over the past few years, and recently introduced a new climate action plan, following a broad consultation with the business community on measures to combat emissions.
The new building regulations include provisions on the life cycle assessment of structures, observing and limiting their environmental impact throughout the entire work cycle, from start to finish.
Established companies such as the Steypustöðin foundry, a leading energy conversion business in Iceland’s civil engineering sector, have also signed internal policies aimed at reducing the impact of concrete production and transport to protect the environment for future generations.
The foundry has been using more electric vehicles in its operations for over a year, including tractors for transporting materials, mixer trucks, and hybrid concrete pumps.
In order to comply with the new regulations and reduce greenhouse gas emissions during the engineering work, the company decided to expand its fleet with the purchase of two DIECI Mini Agri-e electric telehandlers from Veltir.
The Mini Agri-e: the electric telehandler supporting the Icelandic foundries
For the optimisation of its operational dynamics, the Icelandic foundry chose to rely on two compact, efficient and 100% green Mini Agri-e solutions. In fact, in addition to not generating air pollution or emitting greenhouse gases, these vehicles also protect the well-being of operators by reducing noise and vibrations.
Dieci has designed its new Mini Agri-e electric telehandlers to meet the needs of various operators, offering a flexible and modular vehicle that can be configured to meet specific requirements with:
- A single battery pack, with a respective capacity of 22 kW/228 Ah;
- Or two battery packs, with a capacity of 44 kW/456 Ah.
The telehandler can be initially implemented with a single battery pack, and later expanded based on the actual operational requirements. This allows the company to offer an efficient and optimised vehicle, reducing waste and lowering initial costs.
In addition to their electric motor, the Mini Agri-e electric telehandlers also won over the Icelandic company with their power and versatility, offering significant functional and operational advantages, such as:
- 3 charging sockets as standard
- Electrically controlled proportional 4-in-1 joystick
- A maximum speed of 24 km/h;
- A traction force of 4100 daN, on par with the diesel telehandlers;
- Wide visibility thanks to the LED work lights on all sides;
- A 7″ display for clear and immediate viewing;
- Driver’s seat with pneumatic suspension and semi-automatic climate control;
- Possibility of easily equipping the vehicles with additional equipment such as a shovel and sweeper.
Thanks to its compact size, the 100% electric Mini Agri-e telehandler even operates at peak performance in tight spaces, offering excellent precision and manoeuvrability.
We would like to thank Veltir for choosing DIECI as its partner, and for believing in and supporting values that the company holds dear, such as innovation, sustainability and co-operation: only by working together, and sharing the same goals, can we achieve a greener future.
